Our trip to Awataha marae is approaching in the next few weeks. Keep the permission forms rolling in. Also there is the option of 3 payments of 5 dollars instead of the 15 all at once. Most importantly because this trip is out of our local community we need the permission forms in or the child cannot go on our trip :(
what are we learning about from the marae
ReplyDeleteOur topic is relationships and we have been defining what that means and also about tangata whenua and the relationships involved in maori perspectives both with the land and other people. Our trip to the marae should give us some real life experiences about the ways that tangata whenua build relationships and what we can all learn from that. Later on we will be comparing and contrasting other protocols for building relationships in other cultures too.

ReplyDeleteDon't worry there is another one coming, they were doing the worm bins and I just wanted to get something up that day because the one that was there before was from 2009! :) Miss H
